But like many of you, I haven't always been a business owner. . .

Over the course of my career I have worked across many different industries in many different roles.

I noticed that the one constant that never changed from job to job was that profound desire for connection.

To be listened to. Cared for. Important. Understood.

And so often businesses forget that.

People want a business that understands them, that can solve their problems and stay true to its promises.

So how does a business fill that human desire for connection, understanding, and care?

Simple: TELL them. SHOW them.
With your brand.

Ok, you get it. Branding is important.
But branding is also really really tricky to learn and put into action all on your own.

Over the years, I saw that since most business owners aren’t artists, they often avoid anything artsy. Many don’t see the point of branding, so they skip it altogether.

And even though there’s plenty of information online about how to build your own brand, actually putting that advice into action in the real world can be super challenging.

But after all I’ve learned and seen, I know firsthand how effective a clear brand can be.

Well, I thought, I love to design. I can use branding to help others who have their own business or side hustle. There are so many people who have amazing business ideas and talents, but who struggle with their branding and business presence.

So I started Heart Shine Brand Design.
And the rest is history (well, not yet anyway :)

I'm just happy and excited that I get to spend my days helping incredible humans just like you.
